GENTLE APPROACH
Dr. Eggleston and our team emphasize a gentle, personalized approach to ensure you feel comfortable in our office at all times.

Restore Your Smile with Dental Implants

Dental implants are a permanent, natural-looking replacement for missing teeth. They’re the only restoration that protects your oral health in addition to improving your smile. This is because the implant fixture integrates with your jawbone to act like a natural tooth root, providing the necessary stimulation to promote healthy bone growth. This process is called osseointegration and it’s the key to your implant’s success.

The process for receiving dental implants typically consists of multiple appointments over the course of several months. The total time and cost of your treatment will depend on how many teeth you need to replace. No matter which solution you choose, we’ll customize it to blend in perfectly with your smile.

Meet Dr. Jim Eggleston

Dr. Jim Eggleston has been placing dental implants for over 20 years now and he’s developed a reputation in the Turlock area for comfortable treatment that produces spectacular results. He became a dentist because he wants to make a difference in people’s lives, a goal he’s now accomplished countless times.

Dr. Eggleston is proud to have trained at the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute, as well as under Dr. Bill Dofrman from TV’s Extreme Makeover. He’s a member of several professional dental organizations, including the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (ACD), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the California Dental Association (CDA).

Best of all, Dr. Eggleston earned Mastership status from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). To earn this honor, he had to provide documentation of forty completed implant cases that had each taken place at least a year ago, in addition to over 100 hours of continuing education.

Our Advanced Technology

Creating the right dental implant treatment plan for your smile starts with your consultation. During this time, Dr. Eggleston will use advanced diagnostic tools to get an in-depth look at your mouth. Some of the other unique dental technology that we use in our office to support the implant process includes:

  • Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
  • 3D Printer for Surgical Guides

What is the difference between regular dental implants and All-on-4 implants?
Traditional dental implants require two procedures and months of healing. While All-on-4 dental implants can complete your new smile within a few hours. With less recovery time, you can start to experience all the benefits of All-on-4 implants immediately.

All-on-4 dental implants work best for patients who have lost all or most of their natural teeth and want to replace an entire arch of teeth. Traditional dental implants require four and eight implants for the same results as All-on-4.

Are All-on-4 dental implants removable?
Dental implants are surgically fixed to your jawbone and can only be removed by a qualified dentist. Caring for your dental implants resembles your normal oral hygiene routine–brush your teeth twice a day with a soft-bristled brush, floss daily, and rinse with a mouthwash.

If you’re experiencing challenges with your All-on-4 implants, contact our Turlock dental office right away. Give us a call at (209) 226-4963 and Dr. Eggleston will evaluate your health to get to the root of the problem.

Does Eggleston Dental Care accept dental insurance?
At Eggleston Dental Care, Turlock implant dentist Dr. Eggleston and the rest of our team want all of our patients who need dental implants to be able to afford them. To help our patients get the best in implant dentistry, our Turlock, CA office accepts many different forms of dental insurance alongside flexible financing options. We also offer third-party financing through CareCredit, LendingClub, and Alphaeon.
Are X-rays safe?
X-rays expose you to less radiation than simply going about your daily life does. Even better, X-rays like the kind we provide using Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and digital X-rays, expose you to even less radiation than traditional X-rays for even shorter periods of time. Rest assured that your Turlock implant dentist and the rest of our team will take every precaution, including taking the X-rays properly the first time, to expose you to as little radiation as possible and ensure your safety.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
At your first appointment, be sure to bring any and all content requested by your Turlock, CA implant dentist. This is likely to include:

  • Payment method
  • Insurance cards
  • Identification
  • Medical records
  • List of medications

Bringing everything required the first time will help ensure we can bring you into our care and that any necessary treatment can begin as soon as possible.
